Visit from Kaiserslautern to the Institut Jean Lamour (IJL)

On 3rd Sept2025, 12 people from both Nanoscaled Hybrid magnonics and Apllied Spin Phenomena groups from Kaiserslautern University visited the Institut Jean Lamour (IJL) in Nancy. The visitors were welcomed with an introduction to the institute’s cutting-edge research in materials science, nanotechnology, and spintronics, followed by guided tours of several technical platforms and laboratories. During the visit, the guests were introduced to IJL’s research in materials science, nanotechnology, and spintronics, and toured several laboratories and technical platforms. A special highlight was the institute’s 70-meter ultra-high vacuum tube, a unique facility for advanced material studies. The visit both consolidated the present collaboration and inspired some opportunities for joint research in the future.
