🎓 Group Seminar Research Group Nanoscaled Magnonic Hybrids – Summer Semester 2026

The AG Magnetismus Group Seminar for the Summer Semester 2026, organized by Prof. Philipp Pirro and Prof. Burkard Hillebrands, will take place every Monday at 11:00 in Building 76 (LASE), Room 276–277 (Conference Room).

The seminar series features a broad range of topics in magnonics, spintronics, and nanoscale magnetism, including contributions from internal members as well as invited speakers from international institutions such as ETH Zurich.

This semester’s program includes highlights such as:

Advances in 3D magnonics and magnonic coupling
Spin-wave engineering and Floquet systems
Spin-Hall oscillators and hybrid magnetic systems
Magnetoelastic effects and SAW generation

In addition, a joint online seminar with AG Angewandte Spinphänomene and sessions on lab safety are part of the program.
